Welcome to PANDA 23 TVPANDA MISSION STATEMENT Public Access Northern Dutchess Area, Inc. (PANDA) is committed to providing local programming which will increase opportunities for community expression on issues and topics that affect the lives of community members. To this end, PANDA believes that the local community will play an active role in determining and developing programming for public and government access. PANDA TV 23 is a non-profit 501(c)(3) and follows the PEG (Public, Educational, and Government access) system to make available equipment, training, and televised air time on the local cable system so that members of PEG can produce their own shows and broadcast them to a broad audience. SERVICES Scheduling and transmission of non-commercial programming on Public Access cable TV Time Warner Cable channel 23. Time on the channel is available to the public, free of charge, on a first-come, first-served basis. Access to television production equipment to produce public access programs is available to individuals and organizations who have completed the requisite PANDA training workshops. Workshops in television production for inter-municipal residents and special group workshops for non-profit community organizations based in the five municipalities (Town and Village of Red Hook, Town and Village Rhinebeck, and Tivoli.) |
